A fully restored\u00a0G-Plan mid-century room divider and display unit<\/strong>, combining elegant proportions with practical storage and a beautifully warm teak finish.<\/p>\n

The unit features a double-door upper cupboard, an open-backed central display section and a lower fall-front compartment. The fall-front opens to form a useful serving surface, making the lower section particularly well suited for use as a drinks or cocktail cabinet.<\/p>\n

The central display shelf can be repositioned at different heights, allowing the open section to accommodate books, glassware, ceramics or taller decorative pieces. The open-backed design helps the unit retain a light, architectural appearance and allows it to be used either against a wall or as a freestanding room divider.<\/p>\n

The original red\u00a0G-Plan maker\u2019s label<\/strong>\u00a0remains attached to the inside of the upper cupboard door, providing clear evidence of its manufacture and provenance.<\/p>\n

    Condition<\/h2>\n

    This piece has been\u00a0fully restored<\/strong>\u00a0and is presented in very good vintage condition.<\/p>\n

    The timber surfaces have been carefully cleaned and refinished to revive the colour and natural grain. The upper cupboard doors, adjustable shelf and lower fall-front section all operate as intended, and the original hinges, supports and fittings remain in place.<\/p>\n

    The original red G-Plan label has been retained inside the upper cupboard.<\/p>\n

    As an authentic mid-century item, the unit may retain minor historic marks, subtle tonal variation and small signs of age. These are consistent with its vintage character and do not detract from its overall appearance or function. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.<\/p>\n

    Care<\/h2>\n

    Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For occasional cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and dry the surface immediately afterwards.<\/p>\n

    Avoid abrasive products, silicone-based furniture sprays and harsh chemical cleaners. Use coasters or protective mats beneath drinks, plants and decorative objects, particularly when using the fall-front surface.<\/p>\n

    Keep the unit away from strong direct sunlight, radiators and excessive changes in heat or humidity.<\/p>\n

    When repositioning the adjustable shelf, remove all items first and ensure the shelf is properly supported before placing anything back on it.
