Do you restore original furniture or create new pieces?

We work exclusively with existing furniture. Each piece is either carefully restored to extend its life or thoughtfully upcycled where a new use allows it to endure. We do not produce newly manufactured furniture.

What types of furniture do you work with?

We work with well-made furniture from a wide range of periods and styles. Rather than focusing on a specific era, we select pieces based on their construction, materials, and potential for longevity.

What is the difference between restoration and upcycling?

Restoration focuses on repair and preservation, retaining the original purpose and character of a piece. Upcycling involves reimagining a piece for a new use, while remaining sensitive to its form, materials, and history.

Do you remove sign of age and wear?

Not entirely. We believe that gentle signs of age are part of a piece’s story. Structural issues are addressed and surfaces are carefully refined, but we avoid over-restoration that erases character.

Can I commission work on my own furniture?

Yes. We consider commissions on a case-by-case basis. If you have a piece you’d like restored or reimagined, please get in touch with details and photographs, and we’ll be happy to advise.

Do you make exact replicas or match existing furniture?

No. Each piece we work on is individual. Our focus is on responding to the object itself rather than recreating something new or identical.

Are your pieces suitable for modern homes?

Yes. While the furniture we work with has a history, our restorations and adaptations are carried out with contemporary living in mind, ensuring pieces are practical, functional, and comfortable to use today.

How do you price your furniture and services?

Pricing reflects the time, materials, and level of work involved, as well as the quality and uniqueness of the piece. Commissioned work is quoted individually once the scope is agreed.

Do you offer delivery?

Delivery options vary depending on the piece and location. Details will always be discussed clearly before purchase or completion.

Delivery Options & Guidelines

Pick Out a Space For Your New Furniture

Before delivery, we recommend deciding exactly where your piece will sit. This helps ensure the proportions work comfortably within the room and allows the furniture to be placed with care on arrival.

Measure Twice & Measure Again!

Please check all relevant dimensions carefully, including doorways, hallways, and staircases. Taking accurate measurements in advance helps avoid delays and ensures a smooth delivery experience.

Clear a Path for Your Delivery

Clearing the route from entry point to final placement allows our couriers to handle your furniture safely and efficiently. Removing obstacles in advance helps protect both the piece and your home.

Ensure Entry Access For Your Delivery

Please make sure access is suitable on the day of delivery, including parking, lifts, stairwells, and any restrictions. While we’re always happy to advise, responsibility for safe access remains with the buyer.

Delivering With Care

We take great care in ensuring that every piece is transported safely and arrives as intended. Delivery arrangements are discussed individually, taking into account the size, weight, and nature of each item, as well as the destination.

Where possible, we work with trusted couriers experienced in handling furniture. Collection in person may also be available by arrangement. Delivery costs and timeframes will always be confirmed prior to purchase or completion.

Please ensure that access to the delivery location is suitable for the item being delivered, including doorways, staircases, and any access restrictions. While we’re happy to advise, responsibility for access remains with the buyer.

Terms and Conditions

Refunds and Returns Policy

At Sakura Vinteriors, we are committed to ensuring that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your item, please read our returns and refunds policy below:

Returns

  • Eligibility for Return: Items can be returned within 14 days of receipt. The product must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging (if applicable).

  • Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact us with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return. We will provide you with the necessary instructions and a return shipping address.

  • Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item is faulty or not as described.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Certain items are non-returnable, including custom or made-to-order pieces. These will be clearly stated on the product page.

Refunds

  • Eligibility for Refund: Once the item has been returned and inspected, we will issue a refund if the item meets our return policy requirements. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.

  • Timeframe: Refunds will be issued within 7-10 business days after the return is received and inspected.

  • Partial Refunds: If the returned item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts, a partial refund may be granted.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges: We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return the original item and place a new order.

Damaged or Faulty Items

  • Damaged/Faulty Items: If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us immediately with photos of the damage. We will arrange a full refund or replacement at no additional cost to you.

Report Damaged Item

If your item arrives with any damage, please contact us as soon as possible with photographs and a brief description. This allows us to assess the issue quickly and advise on the next steps.

Return a Package

If you wish to return an item, please get in touch within the stated return period so we can guide you through the process. All returns are handled carefully and in line with our agreed terms.
