Avalon Yatton Mid Century Teak Dressing Table & Mirror Fully Restored

A beautifully restored Avalon Yatton mid-century dressing table, dating from the 1960s and distinguished by its elegant proportions, warm teak finish and sculptural frameless mirror.

The design features two small upper drawers, two generous full-width lower drawers and a recessed central dressing surface, providing excellent storage without appearing overly heavy. A slim glass shelf beneath the mirror offers a practical space for jewellery, perfume or smaller accessories.

The large shaped mirror is held in place by discreet metal clips and gives the piece its distinctive mid-century character. Fine black edging defines the surfaces and complements the warm timber, while the curved metal handles and tapered legs retain the original character of the design.

The dressing table has been fully refurbished, including carefully repainting the tapered legs in their original white colour. The brass-toned feet provide a refined finishing detail.

Condition

This dressing table has been fully refurbished and is presented in excellent vintage condition.

The timber surfaces have been carefully cleaned and refinished, while the legs have been repainted in their original white colour. The drawers operate as intended, the handles are secure and the mirror is firmly held by its original-style clips.

The mirror remains clear and presentable. As an authentic vintage piece, there may be very minor signs of age, natural tonal variation or small historic marks within the timber and fittings. These are consistent with its age and do not detract from its appearance or function.

Care
