Ercol 459 Windsor Plank Coffee Table Mid Century Magazine Rack Restored

A beautifully restored Ercol Windsor plank coffee table, featuring the classic rectangular rounded-edge top, tapered legs and original slatted magazine rack beneath.

This is one of Ercol’s most recognisable and practical mid-century designs, combining a solid, sculptural timber top with a light open base. The lower slatted rack is ideal for magazines, books or everyday living room storage, while the rounded corners and softly shaped legs give the piece the timeless Ercol character that remains highly sought after.

The table has been carefully restored, bringing out the warmth, grain and natural variation of the wood while retaining its original charm. The top has a lovely flowing grain pattern with the distinctive plank construction associated with Ercol pieces of this style.

Condition

Presented in very good restored vintage condition.

The table has been sympathetically restored and now presents beautifully, with a clean, warm finish and attractive visible grain throughout. The slatted magazine rack is intact and the table is solid and ready for use.
